IPNews-Monrovia-Liberia-31 October 2018: Margibi county one of the fifteen counties of Liberia through its Legislative caucus chairman Hon Ben Fofana has announced the holding of the county sitting on November 2018, since its previous holding in 2014. It may be recall Margibi County hosted it county sitting prior to the Ebola crisis.
Chairman Fofana said though it may have been a long time since the holding of the county sitting yet Margibians will have to do the best as members of the caucus and leaders of our county, to ensure they hold this sitting by setting aside their difference’s and work together.
Honorable Fofana said the main objective of the sitting is to bring back together elders, communities leaders, former and current official of the district and others prominent stakes holders to meet and discussed those developmental issues that continued to keep the county backwards.
‘This year’s county sitting will mainly discuss the allocation of needed funding to complete ongoing projects in the county.
“We need to look at first the issues of reuniting the districts and the county as a key agenda item during the sitting. Fofana stated.
Hon. Fofana further said through the leadership of the caucus and the people of Margibi on November 9,2018 they will all come together and discussed to decide the best option for the forward march of developments in the county.
Chairman Fofana noted that projects highlighted for completion are projects embarked upon during the administration of former President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf which were at 75 or 85percent uncompleted.
