LIBERIA: ULAA Goes to Election on Saturday

-As Diaspora Group Will Use Electronic Machine for Elections Results

At long last, the long-waited election for the Union of Liberian Association in the Americas (ULAA) is expected to take place on Saturday, March 2, in Philadelphia, the United States of America.

According to Mr. James D. Barclay, Secretary General, ULAA, the hall for elections activities and electronic machines have already been secured.

The election will take place at the Victory Harvest Fellowship International Church in Philadelphia, beginning at 10 a.m.

According to the diaspora group’s board’s chief scribe, there is no change to the approved candidate and delegates’ lists of September 2023. Therefore, all those previously qualified to participate are expected to participate in the process. Accordingly there will be no sitting fees for the March 2nd elections as everything was already done in September 2023.

The National Board of Directors used this medium to encourage members of ULAA to turn out in full and participate in the decision making process of their organization.

It can be recalled, that Judge Barry C. Dozor, Delaware County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania, issued strong orders that the election will be supervised by the two lawyers — Nixon T. Kannah, Esquire and Charles K. Sunwabe, Jr., MA, Attorney At law — representing incumbent President Shiwoh Kamara and ULAA National Board of Directors Chairman Alfred Sieh, for a free and transparent election.
