“ANC Won’t Collaborate with Wicked Regime” – CPP Refutes Mayor Koijee’s ‘Comical Assertion’

IPNEWS-Monrovia: The Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) has described as “disinformation” the assertion by the ruling party’s Secretary General, Jefferson Koijee that the CDC is in talks with the CPP constituent member, ANC, for a collaboration.

The CPP now comprises the Alternative National Congress (ANC) which is historically a break away from the CDC and the Liberty Party (LP).

The CPP categorically denied being in talks with the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change.

The CPP stated in a statement: “This is not only wishful thinking on the part of the CDC regime that has lost its way, but a shameful and callous lie intended to sow seeds of discord and confusion within the ranks of the CPP and in the minds of the Liberian people and draw attention away from the dismal performance of the CDC administration over the past five years. Even after five years of squandering the nation’s resources, and most recently embarking on an almost two-month jolly-jolly vacation, during which $1.5 Million of taxpayers’ money was wasted, President George Weah and the CDC remain insensitive, unaccountable, and unapologetic to the Liberian people.”

CDC Secretary General  and Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Koijee. His statement of possible collaboration with a constituent member of the CPP, the Alternative National Congress (ANC) of Alexander B. Cummings has been described as ‘disinformation’ and ‘comical’

Describing the Weah-led administration as a “wicked regime”, the CPP stated that neither of its two constituent members is interested in patronage from the CDC which, according to them, has outlived its usefulness.

The CPP further assured its supporters that it remains committed to its agenda for socio-economic advancement, democratic consolidation, and making the failed regime of President Weah a one-term Presidency.

The CPP under the leadership of ANC standard bearer and political leader, Alexander B. Cummings remains Liberia’s leading critical opposition political establishment that is noted for calling to the book President George Weah’s administration for flaws and what they termed ‘bad governance’.

According to the CPP, under the leadership of President Weah, Liberians have encountered hardship never seen before since the formation of Liberia, and has always asked Liberians to vote them out in 2023 to end their sufferings.

Recently the CPP held a “We Tiyah Suffering” Political Rally at the outside facility of the Samuel Kanyon Doe (SKD) Sports Complex in Paynesville, to remind the CDC-led government of President Weah about the sufferings Liberians have continued to encounter under his leadership.
