IPNEWS: The Holy Father, Pope Francis, has nominated Reverend Monsignor Walter ERBÌ as the new Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Liberia.
The new Apostolic Nuncio was born on 8th January 1968 in Turin (Italia), and was ordained Priest on 10th May 1992.
He holds a Doctorate in Canon Law. After the studies in Diplomacy at the Pontifical Ecclesiastical Academy in Rome, he entered into the Diplomatic Service of the Holy See on 1st July 2001 and served in the Apostolic Nunciatures in Philippines, Italia, United State of America (USA) and Turkey. He served also at the Vatican Secretariat of State.
Apart from his mother tongue Italian, Monsignor ERBÌ speaks English, French and Spanish.
