IPNEWS-MONROVIA: controversial Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson says former President Johnson-Sirleaf misled the international community over circumstances leading to the death of former LPRC managing director Harry Greaves.
Senator Johnson told told worshippers that the late Harry Greaves was murdered under the watchful eyes of former President Johnson-Sirleaf.
Speaking at his Christ Chapel of Faith year end service Sunday, Senator Johnson accused the Sirleaf administration of bringing in paid pathologist who compromised
the medical report that ruled out foul play.
It may be recalled former LPRC managing director Harry Greaves, died under mysterious circumstances which sparked mixed reactions across Liberia, including the international community.
Meanwhile, the Nimba County senator has described Henry Costa as useless, and foolish man, adding that Costa’s decision to have announced his early
ambition to contest the Liberian presidency, has undermined the aim and objectives of his advocacy to ensure transparency and accountability in the governance structure of Liberia.
He said it is shameful to note that the advocacy of Mr. Costa over he years is all about self.
There has been no immediate response from Henry Costa.

PYJ’s allegation regarding Harry Greaves should’ve been corroborated before publication. I’m not defending EJS, but the phrase “watchful eyes” carries an unfair connotation. Investigative journalism presupposes factchecking to ensure thoroughness. For example, if Hot Pepper newspaper had dug dipper, it wouldn’t have rushed half-truth of L$16 billion to print thereby keeping the story alive, for example, with lies of legislators divvying-up portions on a street corner.
