UP Embattled Chairman To Join CDC

IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia-27 August 2018: Reports are emerging that embattled Chairman of the former ruling party-UP , Wilmot Paye, is expected to officially join the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change-CDC.

According to Mulbah Morlu, Chairman of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), plans are underway to officially welcome  Mr. Paye and other stalwarts to the party.

Making the disclosure over the weekend, Chairman Morlu said there was high enthusiasm among partisans of the CDC to welcome embattled and suspended chairman of the former ruling party Paye and two members, former UP Montserrado County Representatives Henry Boima Fahnbulleh and J. Cole Bangalie making a comeback to the  CDC respectively .

Mr. Morlu’s comment on Saturday,August 25,2018, comes just less than a week when the former chairman and now Representative of District N0. 2, Grand Kru County, Fonitee Koffa formally begin a members of the CDC.

The CDC tough-talking Chairman, Morlu further narrated that the CDC is opened to all Liberians who want to be part of the team that is destined to move the country forward, especially in a direction that many past leaders did not venture into.

It may be recalled, the embattled UP Chairman Paye is facing serious investigation within the former ruling party following allegation of gross administrative ineptitude forming the party’s last meeting retreat in Grand Bassa County.

Additionally , partisans of the UP accused the embattled chairman of corruption and administrative ineptitude for the party’s defeat during the 2017 presidential elections.
