IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia-16 August 2018:Criminal Court “A” has released three (3) suspects in murder trial of the late Journalist Tyron Brown.

The court dropped charges against the three defendants in the case involving slam journalist for what the court calls ‘having them to testify on behalf of the State’.

The defendants released today were Bill Caesar Kennedy, Massa Kennedy and Juana Bracewell.

Court document read: “At this stage, in keeping with the duty of section 18.1 of the Criminal Procedure Law of Liberia, for a dismissal of the charges levied against the defendants Bill Caesar Kennedy, Massa Kennedy and Juana Bracewell, for the purpose for having them testify for and on behalf of the state as state believed that their testimonies will be jasmine, that conduct is believed to have the proximate of the death of the late Tyron Brown.”

According to the Court the  decision and action made is within the confine of the laws of Liberia and in support of the promotion of the substantial Justice.

In resistance to the submission made by the Prosecuting Councils for Co-defendants interposes no objections to the submission presented by the Prosecution in consistence with the Criminal Procedure 18.1

Meanwhile, Jonathan Williams has pleaded with the court for the hiring of a private lawyer to ably represent him in subsequent trail .

Williams also requested the court for three weeks extension to allowing him make consultation with his lawyer.

But prosecution vehemently rejected the appeal on grounds that the defendant was buying time thus granting him two weeks to his request.

The Presiding Judge Roosevelt Z. Willie, further stated that, the case resume son August 29, 2018 at 9:30am.
