“The great people of Lofa County have engineered a major political paradigm shift by telling their entitled “uncles” that their past performance in office with no tangibles is no longer acceptable.
Liberians applaud the peaceful and intentional decision of the citizens of Lofa in recognizing that their future and that of their children had been wasted by long time politicians who have nothing to show.
The decision of citizens of Lofa to change course with Counselor Joseph K. Jallah is a gamble but we will support them in holding him accountable to deliver results which will improve their lives. They want a better life and we support their desire for change.
This is in line with the spirit of Real Change that the ANC is leading.
The rejection of the failed leadership of Joseph N. Boakai by the great citizens of Lofa is a clear signal that performance in public office is the yardstick for asking citizens to consider you for any office.
Lofa County has been a sad victim of lack of progress for over 50 years and Mr. Boakai cannot explain clearly what he did with the trust of the people while he served for decades in Government and for 12 years as Vice President.
This is unacceptable to clear thinking citizens of Lofa County!!
The ANC Standard Bearer Mr. Alexander B. Cummings has promised to work with the chosen leaders of Lofa County to move Liberia into the new age.
While we understand and accept that the Senator Elect Counselor Jallah has the right to be endorsed by any political party and individual, we remind him that as an Independent he should fight to move Lofa County and its people forward.
Senator Elect Counselor Jallah has a unique opportunity to collaborate with agents of Real Change for the new Liberia we are building.
The CDC and President George M. Weah must and will be a one- term spectacle because Liberia Deserves Better!
We subscribe fully to the mantra of Mr. Alexander B. Cummings that “Liberians cannot keep electing the same people, and doing the same things year after year after year and expect different results!”
