Is Rep. Nagbe Sloh Under Probe over US$ 17K Confession?

IPNews-Monrovoa: An impeachable source within the corridors of the legislature has informed the Independent Probe that a seven men committee has been setup by House Speaker Bhofal Chambers to investigate Sinoe County Electoral District # 2 Representative Nagbe Sloh for allegedly accusing his colleagues of accepting bribes.

According to our source, the leadership of the House of Representative took the decision following a complained from two Lawmakers from Bassa County in a Executive Session.

Representatives Thomas Goshua and Vicente Willie complained their colleagues to the Plenary for an immediate investigation.

The two Lawmakers indicated that Rep. Sloh on a local radio accused members of the House of Representatives of receiving the amount of US$ 17,000.00 or seventeen thousand United States dollars each to pass the recast budget on a local radio in Monrovia.

Our source disclosed that Lawmakers including Representative Edwin M. Snowe are amongst the seven members committee that is expected to probe the Sinoe county Lawmaker and subsequently report to Plenary next Tuesday.

The report of a planned investigation come hours when the House of Senate is expected o begin formal proceedings into accusation by Montserrado County Senator Darius Dillon, of members of,the Senate taking bribe to passed the recent controversial recast National budget which remains a debate across Liberia.

As the ties turn, all eyes are set for today’s proceedings by the House of Senate to either suspend or Expelled, controversial Montserrado county Senator Abraham Darius Dillon.
