IPNews-Monrovia: Barely a week after police launched a manhunt for Johnson Chulutay, the stepfather of the 15-year-old girl allegedly raped and impregnated, a Liberian Journalist who unearthed the alleged rape case involving a fifteen years old teenager minor, (name withheld) has alarmed that about ‘serious danger’ since he reported this record breaking investigation.

Abraham Saah of the Foya Kissi TV and Radio an online platform base in Lofa County told IPNews via mobile phone that since he undercover the alleged rape victims telling her story there have been several attacked from family members the Wife alleged rap perpetrator Johnson Chulutay including some members of the Lofa county security detachment on his life.

Journalist Saah told IPNews that due to the constant threats, he is now in a secret location and is in fear for his life.

Saah stated the continued threats against him has led to him being asked out of the secret location by house holder or else he would inform others of his hideout.

“Currently, I don’t know what to do. Nobody wants to be identified with me because of this investigation.”

“My friend who I currently stayed with has also asked me out or else he would tell the people. I am calling on the Press Union of Liberia and the government of Liberia to ensure they get me out of here quietly because the county security detachment is in cohort with the perpetrator family members.”. Journalist Saah told IPNews.

Meanwhile, Johnson Chulutay, the stepfather of the 15-year-old girl has be apprehended by an officer of the Liberia National Police.
Justice Minister Frank Musah Dean confirmed to the media late yesterday evening that Mr. Chulutay was arrested in the Mount Barclay community.

Chulutay is currently undergoing interrogated along with his Wife who had previously informed Police that Johnson was in Maryland county at a gold mines.

Police spokesman Moses Carter early this morning informed IPNews that Mr. Chulutay was hiding out in the area when an officer of the Liberia National Police who knows him well, as a fellow church member, identified and apprehended him.

Last Wednesday, Mary Chulutay, the mother of the survivor was arrested and is currently helping police with the investigation.

The rape survivor, her child and relatives she lived with in Lofa are being brought to Monrovia to assist with the investigation.
In a graphic and shocking video now gone viral on social media, the 15-year—old explained how she once lived with her mother and the husband in Monrovia. But since her mother’s husband family never liked the mother, her grandmother told the mother to go to Lofa and leave her husband, but the mother refused, until the unthinkable happened leading to her pregnancy.

The little girl further narrated that after some time, her stomach started growing, her mother bought pregnancy test and tested her and found out she was pregnant. But by that time she explained, she was already three-months pregnant and nothing came out of it. “So, she sent me to my grandma in Lofa to be here.”

When asked if her mother did anything about the situation, the young girl explained that at first, the mother wanted to take action against the husband, but people told her not to do it. “So, she sent him to his home. The same day I was coming to Lofa, is the same day my step pa was going to his home,” she said.
