IPNews-Monrovia: All Liberian Party, political leader and chairman of the four opposition’s political party,  Benoni Urey, is advising recently pronounced leader in the controversial Montserrado County, district 15, by-election miss Telia Urey not to honor request by President George Weah seeking dialog between she and her main challenger Abu Kamara of the governing Coalition for Democratic Change- CDC.

In a live facebook address Deputy presidential press Secretary Smith Toby, Tuesday stated that president George Weah has requested a ‘peace talk’ between both Miss Telia Urey and Abu Kamara over growing tension in the aftermath of partial results pronouncement from recently held Montserrado County, district 15, by-election.

But speaking to newsmen yesterday, Tuesday, Mr. Urey stated that his daughter is a full grown woman but insist that law must prevail.

Urey said Saturday’s violence on his daughter was an intent by President George Weah and Abu Kamara to kill his daughter, Miss Telia Urey.

Meanwhile, Chairman Urey is at the same time calling for an immediate arrest of those behind last Saturday riot in district 15.

It may be recorded reports emerged late Saturday evening in Monrovia, that Miss Telia Urey , main Opposition challenger in the just ended Montserrado County District 15 by-election was reportedly taken hostage in a building in Logan Town, a suburb outside the capital Monrovia.

According to the report Madam Telia Urey was attacked by some unknown people believed to be supporters of her main contender, Abu Kamara of the ruling party-the Coalition for Democratic Change-CDC.

A video circulating on Facebook showed her smashed vehicle escaping a mob and suddenly lost control and ran into a wall. However, there has been no independent verification to how many persons were on board the vehicle.

According to reports miss Telia was reportedly hidding in a building and there are reports of the mob threatening to burn down the building.

The riot followed a repeat of violence  in the district since the announcement on the holding a re-run in contested election at six polling places in a prescient by the National Elections Commission of Liberia, following allegation of vote wrecking by the opposition collaborating parties comprising the All Liberian Party-ALP, the Unity Party, Alternative National Congress and the Liberty Party-LP.
