The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Liberia, Dr. Nathaniel T. Blama has been inducted as Chairman of Board of Trustees of the proposed Pilgrims College
of Professional Studies.

Pilgrims College of Professional Studies (PCPS), seeks to provide cutting edge tertiary education for young Liberians and others in emerging disciplines including Entrepreneurship, Environmental and Natural Resources Management Studies, Science & Technology, Theology, Religious Education, Vocational Education, General Administrative Practice, Counseling, Leadership & Public Speaking and Project Proposal Writing and Monitoring and & Evaluation.

Dr. Blama was inducted on February 27, 2019, at Murex Plaza, 10th Street, Sinkor Monrovia,
Liberia.

He and six other board members including Dr. B.K. Robertson, Hon. Alexander Duopoe, Hon.
Samuel Thompson, Mr. Collins Teah, and Atty. Teresa D. Davies have been charged with the
responsibilities of providing policy direction and oversight functions to the management Team of the proposed PCPS.

A team of highly competent staff from diverse area of disciplines have been recruited to run the institution.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Hon. Blama said “we commit our service and work to this board and we will seek at nothing less but to make it come second to none in this country.

He assured that they will uphold the confidence that have been imposed in them and said “we
will not let you down, but we also need your support.”

“We’re discontented with the current flaws in our educational system and with the strategic
rationale that the Pilgrims College of Professional Studies promises; we can only hope that this is the beginning of the transfer of knowledge and skills in technical areas in Liberia. Fortunately for us, we will soon find out.
