Was Pres. Weah Annual Message Leaked?! Concern Mounts In Monrovia

IPNews-Monrovia-Liberia-29 January 2019: A day after Liberia’s twenty-fifth President George Manneh Weah historic annual address to the 54th joint session of the Liberia National Legislature, there are raising concerns across Monrovia over suspicion that the President’s annual message may have been leaked to some members of the opposition block hours before he address that august body.
In an interview conducted by this paper, many of the citizens questioned the tenacity of the analysis of the four collaborating political parties to have analyzed a two hours speech made by the President to enable them hold a press conference fifteen minutes after President Weah has ended his annual message to the joint Legislature.
Some of those spoken told wanders how the opposition to have chronologically analyzed the President speech to terming the pitfalls outlined by the opposition in their nearly one hours press statement.
Another concern raised by citizens in Monrovia, is the repeated leaked of video from the immediate inner circle of the President as troubling.
Recently, there have been video of the President in drum beating which some believed might have been leaked from a closed associate.
Another incident sighted by Liberians on the streets of Monrovia, was a photo of visiting rock star Jimmy Claf , from a local Hotel which was announced on the ‘Costa show early this Morning when he hosted Liberty Party Deputy Chairman for inter party affairs, Diarus Dillion, from an anonymous person .
With these troubling concerns, many citizens are calling on the Director of the Executive Protection Service, EPS, to increase its vigilance of the President and his immediate family. Investigation continues.
