IPNews-Monrovia-Liberia-18 November 2018: Montserrado County District #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah is currently undergoing investigation by the House Committee on Rules, Order and Administration for his alleged public accusation against President George Weah of ‘facilitating’ the alleged missing 16 billion Liberian dollars.
The Montserrado County lawmaker is also being investigated for his recent pronouncement that he would singularly protect veteran journalist Philibert Brown, should he be invited by the House of Representatives to reveal  names of  over fifteen Representatives who were  bribed in the printing of an additional L$10.5 billion, as mentioned in his recent public statement.
Rep. Kolubah was subjected to an investigation by his colleagues on Thursday, November 15, which marked the 8th-day extraordinary sitting, following a motion from Montserrado County District #8 Representative Acarous M. Gray.
Prior to the motion  by Hon. Gray, the entire process came to a standstill for with heated arguments ensuing especially between Representatives Solomon George and Francis Dopoh.
Rep. Dopoh argued that the lower house is not the court for President weah as such Rep. Kolubah should not be investigated neither interrogated about his statement concerning the alleged involvement of  president Weah into the missing 16 billion saga.
On the contrary, Representatives, Solomon George, Acarous M. Gray, and Samuel Kogar said the statement of Representative Kolubah is not in a good spirit of coordination, given the public outcry of the alleged missing 16 billions.
The argument among the lawmakers, which subsequently led to Representative Kolubah being investigated, was prompted by a letter from Rep. Kogar, who argued that he should not be the subject of an investigation consistent with Rules 40.2; 41.2; 42.1; 43.2; 48.1 and 48.7, respectively, of the Rules and Procedures of the House of Representatives.
“No member may introduce false information or unsubstantiated matter, pretending that it is true,” Rule 40.2 says.
And 41.2 also say: “Members shall not use their powers and duties for his/her own advantage or for committing acts of partiality, but for the protection of the interest of the public and citizens in a just manner.”
It can be recalled that Representative Kolubah in recent time upon his appearance on a local talk show promised to stand in defense of  Mr. Brown if he is summoned for his alleged accusation that more than 15 lawmakers of the 53rd Legislature, 12 of whom are members of the 54th Legislature, allegedly received bribes in support of CBL, through an inappropriate letter to print additional L$10.5 billion.
Meanwhile, Journalist Philibert Brown who draw  public attention on the alleged LD$16 billion saga which has calmed the attention of the entire country including international partners.

It is believed that many Liberians who took recent stand of advocacy were libel belle driven advocates without vision and purpose.
