DEA ARREST OVER $15,000 USD EXPIRE PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS

IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia-24 August 2018: The Bio Form Health Center located in Mount Barclay has temporarily been shut down for allegedly selling expired pharmaceutical drugs.

In a related development, officers of the Liberian Drugs Enforcement Agency has arrested two suspect identify as Sando Doe and his wife Janet Doe for illegal possession of huge quantity of expired pharmaceutical drugs.

Speaking at a joint PRESS Conference in Monrovia on Thursday, the DEA Boss Marcus Soko said the value of the expired pharmaceutical drugs is a little over $15,000 United States Dollars.

Mr. Soko of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency says the confiscated drugs will be burned, while the perpetrators are undergoing prosecution.

Director Soko told journalist that the Liberia Medical Regulatory Authority has temporarily closed down the Bio Form Health Center for selling expired pharmaceutical drugs to public.
