IPNews-Monrovia: It has been reported in Gola Konneh District, Grand Cape County that the relatives of Seebowlee and the powerful Sande Society have just ended a critical meeting concerning with Ms. Nepe succession to her grandmom throne.
According to our reporter the meeting said that it has been concluded that Henry Gant must be held solely responsible for their daughter’s escape to the US.
It can be recorded that the Rights activist (Gant) of the Democratic Watch rescued and protected Seebowlee from the secret society in 2012. Since that incident, the people of the district have not slept in peace. “This issue before us is unprecedented and we must do everything to bring this uncultured idiot Gant to justice in our own way”, said Momo Fabana the group spokesperson.
Activities of Female Circumcision in Grand Cape is rooted in the culture of the people. If you are not a part of that entity then it is believed that female womanhood is incomplete. However, what is more paramount, for these people is revenge on this young Human Rights activist.
As time passes by the likelihood of the Zoeship will remain in serious doubt so long Seebowlee has eluded the society and has escaped to the US. All of their frustration will now turn on Henry Gant. With the Liberian Government inaction on the matter, it remains to be seen that activist who risked his/her life is vulnerable to death in Liberia
