IPNews-Monrovia: The Liberian National Police has apprehended five notorious armed robbers in the Rehab Community, Paynesville City.
According to the Liberia National Police, the five armed robbers were arrested at 2:00A.M., mid-night, Wednesday, September 4, 2019, following a wave of vigorous Police night patrol operations, across Monrovia and its environs.
The five notorious armed robbers were arrested with single barrel shot gun and other deadly weapons.
Those arrested include: Franklin Menlor, 33yrs, alias, “yaya Touray”, Wedding Mehn, 36 yrs, alias “Labista”, Junior Duo, Cephus M. Tolee, 21 yrs, alias, “Mission” and Otis Tolee, alias “Pascal”.
They are presently at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police undergoing investigation.
Meanwhile, the LNP is calling on the public to provide information that will lead to the arrest of would be criminals on LNP Emergency # 911.
It may be recorded, the Publisher, Independent Probe Newspaper, Chester A. Smith, Sr., was recently armed robbed by nine men carrying cutlasses and other deadly weapons on 3rd street, around the Saye Town football field, making away his laptops, cannon cameras, mobile phone and wallet containing cash.
Police has since been on a manhunt for the alleged robbers to no avail.
