–Fails to Hold 2022 Christmas Party for County Children
IPNEWS-Grand Kru: The Superintendent of Grand Kru County, Doris Ylatun has been accused of allegedly of misappropriating President Weah’s gift of 300,000 Liberian dollars and 100 bags of rice received by her for Grand Kru children 2022 Christmas party.
Superintendent Ylatun when invited on a local radio in the country, Ahteenah Radio to give clarification regarding the expenditure of the LS$300,000 as well as the 100 bags of rice provided by the Liberian leader, Ms. Ylatun refused to show up.

Commenting on the issue surrounding the LS$300,000 and 100 begs of received from President Weah by the County Superintendent, Doris Ylatun, the Mayor of Barclayville, Benetta Blamoh disclosed that upon her arrival in the county, the Superintendent presented to her office only LS$80,000 for the Children party and as well as 15 bags of Rice for her office use.
Giving the breakdown of the money spent by the County Superintendent, the Mayor alleged Superintendent Ylatun donated bags of Rice to Grand Kru county football Team for the 2022/2023 national county sports, the Christian community, and other landline ministries in the county, something she noted the President’s 300,000 Liberian dollars was never intended for.

Appearing on Ahteenah Morning Platform Thursday, January 5, 2022, the Internal Affairs Minister Varney Sirleaf clarified that the President’s offer to children of Grand Kru was done across the entire country, adding, what Superintendent Ylatun to divert the money and rice to people and institutions they were not intended for was out of order.
