IPNews-Monrovia, Liberia-13 February 2018:The chairman of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission-LACC Cllr. James Verdier is calling for a full systematic audit of the LACC to establish the believability of recent allegation by Cllr. Augustine Toe of “gross disrespect and financial malpractice”.
Cllr. Verdier speaking at a Press Conference today term the allegation as ridiculous and wonders why such allegation could come from someone he has so much respect for.
The LACC Chairman stated that until a full audit of the books and transaction of the LACC in accordance with its mandate, he considers the allegation as mere child’s play.
