One Case; Two Defendants; Two Plaintiffs;

IPNew-Monrovia, Liberia- 21 March 2018: Henry, Diamond, Vincent and others have appeared before Magistrate J. Kennedy Peabody, at the Monrovia City Court on writ of arrest to answer charge of ‘Aggravated assault’ in violation of section 14.20 of the New Panel Law of Liberia.

The charge of ‘Aggravated assault’, court document detailed that on the 2nd day 8 of March 2018, in Fiamah, Sinkor , a suburb of Monrovia, the named defendants being within the vicinity, and with intent to terrorize the private prosecutor violently  attacked her, jump on the said private prosecutor, beat and inflicted serious bodily injuries on her body and that in the process, the defendant using knife and plier; step her and that said defendant stole the private prosecutor tangible properties by intentionally cutting her wire, Samsung phone cost US$275.00 with air conditioner US$150.00 plus damage.

At the same time, the City Solicitor issued the defendant writ of arrest, on the 3rd day of March, 2018, in Fiamah, Sinkor area.

The within named defendant being there and then with the intent to cause private prosecutor serious bodily injury, purposely with violence jumped on the said private prosecutor bit, beat and assaulted on his body, using razor blade and cut all on his body, thus causing the said private prosecutor to sustain would resulting him to bleed profusely and also cause some deep scratches on private prosecutor`s body.

The alleged act of the defendants being unlawful, wicked, illegal and intentionally is in violation of section 14.20 of the New Penial Law of Liberia, there and then the crime herein defendants did do and commit.
