IPNews-Monrovia, Liberia-21 March 2018: The Liberia National Police (LNP) has arrested five individuals for alleged armed robbery carried out in Whein Town community in Paynesville.
According to police charge sheet, the five were arrested late night on J.J. Roberts Birthday on March 15, 2018.
“In furtherance therefore, on March 15, 2018, suspects Patrick Kollie, alias Baby-Shakera Record, Aaron Clark, alias Result, Exodus Beah, alias Snake, Romeo Lukaku, alias Lukaku, Willaim Joe, alias DK Pantee, Isaac S. Bartu, alias S-Man and Cyrus Zimay, alias Cyrus were arrested in connection to said crime, armed robbery at which time and brought for investigation,” the police charge sheet indicated.
During police investigation conducted with the suspects, they denied their involvement into said crime. The police investigation also conducted back ground investigation on the suspects at which time it was established that the suspects were armed with cutlasses, single-barrel short guns and other deadly weapons, forcibly entered victim Big John Morris and others` homes placed them at gun point and threatened to rape witness Rachael Morris, and at the same time assaulted victims and made away with valuables including cash.
Meanwhile as the progress, police have established as part of the wit, the crime of armed robbery. the police charge sheet added.
According to police preliminary investigation at the crime scene investigation, it was established that the crime of armed robbery did occurred with the victims Big John Morris and others homes seriously ransacked, and damaged of properties including stolen cash stolen.
