IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia-27 February 2018:In an effort to encourage Liberians to take charge of their economy and promote the pro-poor agenda of the CDC-led government, a local Liberian businessman said he is poised to transform the Liberian fashion world to its originality.
Making the assertion on Saturday, February 24, 2018 during a ground breaking ceremony of his Mega Class Fashion Store in Mamba Point, Sekou Jomaday, chairman and chief executive officer, Jomanday Group of Companies, said his motive is to bring transformation to the fashion world into Liberia.
Jomaday also used the occasion to call both international organizations and national government to promote Liberian-owned businesses so that they can take charge of their own economy.
Commenting further, the Liberian businessman indicated that the reason for calling the facility a mega Class is because it strictly deals in international fashions and designs including latest brands collections for women, men and children.
Also speaking, the business manager, Emmanuel Gbann said that Liberia is not a dumpsite for people to bring any kind of the commodities to sell to the Liberia people in the country.
Gbann also stated that the Jomanday Group of Companies does not have any competitors in Liberia because they have the first class and the original.
The business sales manager noted that they decided to involved in to this fashion business because they never wanted foreign businesses to dominate the Liberian business. He further said that whatever international businessmen can do, the company can do the same thing to progress in business.
