IPNews-Monrovia: While on her medical leave, the work of Montserrado County District # 9 Representative, Munah Pelham-Youngblood has been beef up by Senator Saah H. Joeeph.

The district of Rep. Youngblood has been distributing basic food and other health materials to residents in district 9.
As a mean of extending a helping hand to the exercise, Senator Joseph as part of his visit in the district, presented to authority of district 9, a cash amount of L$500,000 (five Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars).

Presenting the amount to the district authority during his visit Wednesday, June 10, 2020 the Montserrado County Lawmaker noted the money is his initial contribution to the food distribution exercise ongoing in the district by Rep. Youngblood and team.
He promised that another L$500,000 will be distributed shortly amongst marketers in the district, so as to extend little financial assistance to the struggling marketers.

Saah Joseph recounted his cordial working relationship between him and Rep. Youngblood while serving in the 53rd Legislature as a Representative, adding “Through the help of your Representative, I received massive support from district 9, during my bid for the seat in the Senate. As such my visit is also in appreciation of that support you gave me”.

He added that, a total of L$1million will be given to the authority of electoral district 9, to beef up the authority strength in extending helping hands to those in needs during this COVID-19 era.
He said, the donation is part of his initiative he recently kickoff to distribute an amount of L$ 5million to mainly marketers across various markets in Montserrado County.

Recently, Senator Joseph contributed an amount L$1million to marketers in rural montserrado, specifically, Careyburge and also in new Georgia.
Receiving the donation, Saah Frank Foko commended the Montserrado Senator on behalf of the District Represennative for the gesture, adding “Your been here today is not a surprise, but we have followed your trick records of given back to the people”.
