This groundbreaking event marks a significant milestone in Liberia’s cultural landscape, bringing together esteemed international music industry experts to engage with and empower local talent, and opens discussions on how artists can grow their career in music.

The Conference promises to be a dynamic platform for networking, learning, and collaboration within the Mano River Union music industry. With a focus on nurturing the burgeoning talent within Liberia and the wider Mano River region, the annual conference will feature a diverse array of panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities tailored to the needs of emerging artists, industry professionals, and music enthusiasts alike. This years conference will be held in Liberia, but annually the conference will move from country to country around the Mano River Union.

Panel topics covered during the two-day conference include music and tech, content intervention panel examining lyrical content, making money in music exploring the opportunities in monetizing music through music publishing and more, Protecting Intellectual Property on the importance of copyright, and building bridges through collaboration focused on musicians from the Mano River Union countries using collaborations to increase fan base across their respective countries.

The conference will bring forth tips and techniques to expose the 52 million people of the Mano River Union to the regions music.   Director of Strategic Partnerships, Saqar Ahhah Ahershu said that ASAP Africa is thrilled to hold the Mano River Music Conference in Monrovia, Liberia.

Among the distinguished guests and speakers confirmed to participate in the conference are Munya Chunetsa of  Empire Africa, founder of Plus Liberia,  Liberian entrepreneur and  Plus Liberia founder Peace Sambola , Enoch Jallah CEO E-Wallie, Frank Norman President of Jeni Entertainment and Executive Producer of Be100 Africa, Xzu-B AYV Cypher Chief judge / Streetwize Ent and host of AYV from Sierra Leone, and the Guinean and Liberian musician Feouls just to name a few.

Rappers will have an opportunity to showcase their rhyming storytelling skills in a rap battle in partnership with LIB Battle League, while musicians will receive hands on training by way of the Hams Vodka Quality Music Recording workshop.

From artist management and marketing to hands on production techniques and global music trends, the conference program will cover a broad spectrum of topics essential to navigating the modern music landscape and creating revenue.  In addition to the enriching educational content, the Mano River Music Conference will also showcase performances by emerging and established artists from Liberia and neighboring countries.
