Deputy Labor Minister Steven Kolubah Encourages FREE-LIBERIA Graduates To See Integrity As Key To Society As The Institution Launches Three New Programs

IPNEWS: The Deputy Minister for Planning and Manpower at the Ministry of Labor Steven Kolubah said Liberia needs a new breed of Leaders who will see integrity as cardinal to improving good governance processes across the Country.
According to him, integrity pays, and it helps to fight bad governance.
Using his most recent proactive inspection tour as his first sucess story as a government official at the Bea Mountain Mining Company to encourage graduates of the School of Value and Success , Mr. Kolubah stressed that to become a good national leader , it is key to remain focused and to have achievable goods and visions that will make a change in the larger society.
It can be recalled that the Deputy Labor Minister and his robust team which he headed completed a rigorous tour of the facilities and operations of the Bea Mountain Mining Company where they discovered over one hundred foreign employees without legal documents thus leading to fines which was paid in the government revenue.
“It is only through integrity and hard work that we achieved that as such, I encourage you as you go out in the world upon your graduation to see integrity, hard work and commitment as  pillars of strength to your operations”, he re-emphasized.
The motivational speaker  at the same time urged the graduates to muster the courage and press forward if they must make an impact and become successful in the larger society.
“It is about time that you believe in yourself, take the bull by the horn and chose your friends critically in order to make the desire change the world is looking for”, he further  admonished the graduates of the second circle of the School of value and success.
He pointed out that there are lots of opportunities out there but it takes people who will make wise use of their time,  committed to tasks  including hard work and consistency in order to make a difference across the globe.
Young people he believes can change the narratives in the society but at the same time stated that only the prepare and dedicated young people can realized such goal.
He used the ocassion to commend the proud graduates for achieving another educative milestone but was also quick to encourage them to use their knowledge to make a change in the Country.
” Do not give up even in the challenging times because there are people who are looking up to you to help change the world”, he added.
Mr. Kolubah who hailed the Foundation For Research, Education and Empowerment (FREE-LIBERIA ) team through its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Charles Gbollie for helping to contribute to the larger society through self empowerment and capacity development initiatives, among others, also encourage them to do more for the betterment of Liberia.
In a move to further impact the larger society, FREE-LIBERIA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Charles Gbollie flanked by the Board Chair Felicia Sackey Doe Sumah  during the second graduation ceremony officially launched three new programs.
The three new programs include: Empowering Disadvantaged Girls through Education (EDGE) Liberia.  Among other things , Dr. Gbollie said it aims is to empower 500 Disadvantaged school girls between the ages of 14- 19 from twenty five public schools in slum and rural communities through academic support and mentorship initiatives.
Under project two, Inspire Liberia Project (IPL) , he told the audience that it is a partnership initiative to inspire Liberians and the nation to greatness and development.
The goal of the “IPL” is to inspire and motiavte one million Liberians to cultivate rights thoughts and attitudes and develop burning desires to take appropriate actions to achieve personal and contribute to national greatness and as for  Liberia Trauma and healing Initiative (LITI) the motivational speaker further indicated that the goal of the project is to promote national healing and reconciliation through trauma healing and psychosocial support seminars and conferences for a cross section of Liberians particularly youth and students.
He used the ocassion to encourage Liberians especially the young people to take advantage of the new programs in order to help change the dynamics in the society.
“The needed change that Liberia deserves,  I believe starts with the young people and now is the time to take charge, embarked on positive initiatives in order to help empower yourselves for the bigger goal ahead, look at the bigger picture and see yourself as the agent of change for the society”, Dr. Gbollie told the graduates.
Serving as the valedictorian of the second circle of the School of value and Sucess was Moses Tweh who appreciated FREE-LIBERIA for such capacity development initiatives in order to shape the paradigm of the Country through their works.
He assured authorities at School of Value and Sucess that they will serve as Ambassadors for the institution by making practical impact in the larger society following the meaningful trainings afforded them over the course of the programs.
As a means of giving a flower to an individual when he/ she is alive, FREE-LIBERIA through its Boss Dr. Gbollie as part of the program honored and Certificated Mr. Steven Kolubah for his passion and contributions to help improve the sector.
Presenting the certificate of honor to Mr. Kolubah was former  Assistant Education Minister and Board Chair of FREE-LIBERIA Felecia Sackey Doe-Sumah who congratulated the honoree for a job well done  and also stressed the importance of adding new skills to the already old ones in order to  make a change in the society.
”  No knowledge gain is wasted” as such, she admonished Liberians to also take advantage of capacity development trainings and self empowerment initiatives in order to improve the Country.
Meanwhile,  following a rigorous professional training programs ,  twenty five students walked out of the walls of the School of value and success as its second batch of  successful graduates.
The proud graduates happily received certificates in strategic planning and management, Entrepreneurship and Business Management, school counseling and Mentorship and Academic Writing and Presentation respectively.
Founded in July 2015; The Foundation for Research, Education and Empowerment was established to among other things foster empirical research solutions, build quality education, empower youth and promote public awareness and civic engagement.
The registered and accredited institution comprised skillful and innovative researchers and professionals with many years of practical experiences with enormous contributions to research, education quality youth focused empowerment in Liberia.
