—- As Caucus members, Pro-Tempore’ Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence reach Crisis Proportion

IPNEWS: Multiple sources both within Monrovia and Grand Bassa county has confided in the authoritative independent Probe newspaper that inner disagreement over who becomes Grand Bassa next Superintendent, has engulfed the Grand Bassa Legislative caucus, senior citizens, women groups and youth of the county.

Sources speaking to IPNEWS stated that majority views in the county, including majority members of the county caucus are calling for the appointment of young Business tagoon Karyou Johnson, owner of K-Plaza inter-continental Hotel in Benson River community, Buchanan city, while Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence is said to be pushing Miss Julie Bondo, an influential leader of the Nyonblee for Senator campaign.

According to several sources, Senator Karnga-Lawrence has refused the nomination from cross-section of Bassa citizens for Mr. Johnson on grounds that his wife mother, former Health Minister, Dr. Wilhelmina Jallah was apart of the inner-cycle of former President George Weah.

IPNEWS understand this remark has not gone down well with members of the Grand Bassa county caucus, particularly youths of the county who remain champions of Mr. Karyou Johnson being Grand Bassa next Superintendent.

At several entertainment spots over the weekend, the discussion continued to make rounds with some threatening protest to ensure President Jospeh Boakai, give a choice of superintendent, especially Mr. Karyou Johnson’s overwhelming support to the Unity Party over the years of opposition that made him faced undoubted consequences during the Weah’s government in Grand Bassa County.
