IPNEWS: The chief Administrator of the eternal life Winning Africa (ELWA) is calling on the government of Liberia and other good well individuals and organization to come to the need of the hospital in term of Providing Medical Supply and Finance.

Speaking to team of Journalist’s at the ELWA hospital compound on Wednesday January 31,2024 the head of the Hospital Rev James Freeman Garway said the currently the hospital runs so many services, the include the Children wall Free of charge which means that Children under five can go there and get Free treatment.

He said as a way of sustaining the program there is a dying need for support from government and other individuals and organization to help them keep the program moving especially the Children wall which had been Free of charge.

He said the ELWA Hospital had been operating in Liberia since the 50s which they started as a clinic and later on to a full hospital that is providing medical services to many Liberian and Foreign Citizens.

Rev. Garway added that when they started the full operation at the time, they only had 50 beds but currently the hospital has about 150 bad that are chartering to thousands of citizens.

He said all of the achievement that the hospital had cannot be done without the over 300 Staffers that are in the compound on a daily basis providing the services to humanity.

Speaking on the Re-sent Gas Explosion in Bong County that’s took away the lives of many Liberians he said when the accident occur the hospital received call from the Bong County health team that there was a need for the hospital to in carting to patients that got Brand.

Rev. Garway said the total number of patients that were in the Emergency room was 21 patients and four are in the hospital and one was later discharge from the hospital over the weekend and the remaining pass off he added.

The ELWA Hospital Administration headed by Rev. Garway said since the hospital open it door to patients there had been many good well Liberians and organizations coming to their needs.

“We had been receiving very good reception from members of the public our services care here had been broken down into the medical team the operation, Financial service”.

He said the hospital don’t only provide medical services but Also provide Spiritual prayers for patients that normally come to the facility, and it had been helpful for them.  The Bong County health team and the outgoing Minister of Health had been working with us since the patients arrived here.

“Samaritan purse had been one of our big donors in running the day-to-Day activities of this hospital when we received call about the gas explosion, they immediately sent in five specialized doctors to come and provide Free services to the gas Explosion victims”. Rev. Garway stated.

The chief Administrator of ELWA Hospital narrated that they had been living on Donations from the establishment of the institution and Health Care in Liberia is difficult, we are providing Education to our services that we offer.

The ELWA Hospital Boss said the government of came in and said they will come in to see how best to cover the Bill of those that was brought to the Hospital, we had local Pharmacy that came in and help, individual from our country that are helping.
