IPNEWS: The Liberian Senate says all is now set for the confirmation of President Boakai’s nominees.

A statement from the Liberian Senate states that today Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, the Minister of Commerce designated will face Senate committee on Commerce and Trade at 12midday, while the Commissioner General designate of the for LRA will be cross examined by 3pm.

Also on Wednesday Jan. 31, 2024, the Minister of State designated will begin the Senate confirmation at 10am .

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Minister of foreign affairs designate will join the Senate committee on Foreign Relations for confirmation hearing at 2P.M., while on Friday, February 2, 2024, the Police Inspector General will join at 11:00AM followed by the Director of the LDEA at 3P.M.

The confirmations are in concert with recent nomination by President Joseph N. Boakai.
