Simeon Freeman Rallies Liberians Ahead of October

–Launches LD4Million to Support Women Groups in Montserrado

IPNEWS-Monrovia: The political leader of the Movement Progressive Change (MPC) on Sunday, January 29 rallied Hundreds of Liberians for his presidential bid in the upcoming October Presidential and Legislative Elections.

Speaking to cross session of Liberians on the Peace Island in Old- Road Mr. Simeon Freeman said it was important for him to reach to the Liberian people during this time where the economy of the country is very bad.

According to the businessman, it is time that voters open their eyes when it comes to electing people to power especially at the level of the presidency and at the Legislature.

He said he is giving money to women’s groups in Montserrado County to empower them over the next six months and is free of interest and meant for empowering the Women and girls in Liberia.

The MPC Boss said what he wants is to see the total money of LD4Million be given to the women in other to make them feel important for the betterment of the Country.

Mr. Freeman stated the politicians are blamed for what is happening in the country, he has put it squarely on the heads of voters who usually vote for people who lack leadership. He then urged Liberians to vote wisely in the pending October elections.

“The people of Liberia need better as we go to the polls in October. Let us all make it our duty to elect people of good understanding and like mind,” the MPC political leader advised.

Simeon Freeman was was seen happily rallying Liberians for October Elections at the Peace Island Community field.

He said last year the Government of Liberia collected 5million United States Dollars and the Business Community did not benefit anything adding, “when you make me President I will create jobs for all Liberians.”

He lamented that US$58 million goes to the Legislature every year while the Liberians people are unable to put foods on their own Table.

He then promised the women that as a way of giving back to the women of Liberia, today Tuesday, he and his team will provide LD600,000.
