–As Moroccan Envoy Delivers Sealed Special Message
IPNEWS-Monrovia: The Executive Mansion reports that on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, the President of Liberia, George Weah received a special envoy of Morocco who delivered to him a special message from Mohamed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco.
Dr. Younes Sekkouri on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, delivered the message from the King Mohamed VI and stressed his country’s unwavering commitment to improved bilateral relationship between Liberia and the Kingdom of Morocco.
“The special message was sealed and the Liberian Chief Executive reciprocated with a sealed message to King Mohamed VI through Dr. Sekkouri,” the Executive Mansion statement said.

But in a brief discussion, President Weah and Dr. Sekkouri exchanged commitments to enhance and strengthen the cordial relations subsisting between their two nations.
They spoke of mutual respect for culture and diversity which each country stands to benefit from the other, including development programs in the areas of trade and commerce, infrastructure development, employment opportunities and human capacity development.
Despite speaking in a brief discussion, neither the Envoy of King Mohammed, IV of Morocco or President Weah made mention of what their respective sealed messages exchanged focused on.

But diplomatic sources told IPNEWS that the contents Special Messages which are sealed and delivered to governments on a bilateral basis are never revealed at the moment, but rather at a later time when those governments deemed it necessary, especially when those messages have to do with investment interest from a particular country.
Dr. Younes Sekkouri, who is also Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, conveyed his leader’s compliments to President Weah and the Government and people of Liberia.
The Courtesy visit was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dee-Maxwell Kemayah.
In November 2022 President Weah led a Liberian government delegation to Morocco and attended a Summit in Tangier. It is not known whether the Special Message delivered to President Weah by King Mohammed, IV by his Envoy has any link to the Liberian leader November 2022 visit to the Morocco.
