Golden Veroleum Liberia appoints two Liberians at managerial levels 

IPNEWS: Two Liberians employees at the Golden Veroleum (Liberia) Inc.have praised the company for its continue effort to employ Liberians at top managerial levels.

The GVL recently employed two Liberian staff to strengthen its finance and sustainability departments.

Both Dans Kiamue Johnson and and Aloysius Blay Jerboh were employed in top managerial levels within the company.

Both men expressed excitement in their new preferments at the company and called on all qualify Liberians to continue to exhibit professionalism on the job at all times.

There are more qualified Liberians here but only professional and committed Liberians can make it to the top as in the case of me and my colleague that were appointed to managerial level. One of the beneficiaries said.

One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Dans Kiamue Johnson was recruited as a Senior Manager for sustainability, and will supervise, monitor, and coordinate the Sustainability Department in GVL.
He will be stationed in Butaw – Sinoe County having periodic visits to other sites where GVL operates.

Mr. Johnson holds a Master Degree in Crop Science and other certificates in environmental and social sustainability with experiences in environmental sustainability.

Mr. Aloysius Blay Jerboh, Jr. was recruited as an Assistant Manager for Finance and Control assigned in Sinoe County. Mr. Jerboh holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration (BBA) Hon. in Accounting with several certificates and diplomas in Financial Management. He is also a candidate for an MBA in Accounting.

The duo brings a wealth of experience to the Company and will improve its finance and sustainability functions respectively.

Over the course of the past ten years of GVL’s operations in Liberia, the Company has transformed from a small operation to a company providing employments and opportunities along the Southeast of Liberia together with other agriculture companies.

The exercise is also in line with its Liberianization plans which will see Liberians playing major roles in the Company in years ahead.

Good progress has been made with most departments in the Company now headed or run by Liberian staff.

This includes Administration, Operations, Legal Affairs, Communications, Human Resources and Community Affairs.
