IPNEWS: The Country Director of Prison Fellowship Liberia, Reverend Francis Kollie terms as a complete time bomb the current situation faced by inmates at the Monrovia Central Prison Center.
He said inmates in other prison facilities across Liberia are very terrible to the health of those citizens, adding that the facilities are overcrowded and operating in an inhuman environment.
Speaking at the weekend, Reverend Kollie stressed that it is disappointing on the part of the Liberian government to reportedly treat its citizens like animals.
He claimed that authorities of the Liberia National Police and the courts are now taking advantage of the unfortunate situation to make money at the detriment of the inmates.
The Prison Fellowship Liberia boss spoke minutes after the donation of a generator and food items to the Monrovia Central Prison through his institution with funding from the Keyara’s Gift.
