Hiram Lodge No. 11 A.F. & A.M. Launches Hot-Meal for Kids in Central Monrovia

IPNEWS: Members of Hiram Lodge No. 11, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Lower Buchanan City, today launched its weekly hot-meal drive on Gurley Street, targeting twin hundred kids each Saturday.

Speaking at the start of the weekly hot-meal drive, Hiram Lodge No. 11, Worshipful Master, Carlos E. Railey, 32°, stated that Hiram Lodge No. 11, is enthusiastic to be apart of an event which brings smiles to hundreds of kids within the central Monrovia area.

Worshipful Master Railey, said Hiram Lodge No. 11, as part of the weekly hot-meal drive, will give out hundreds of scholarship at the J. L. Gibson Memorial school, on Gurley Street, to develop both the physical and mental capacity of the kids.

He lauded Past Masters, Wardens and Brethren of Hiram Lodge No. 11, for their dedication to serving humanity.

For his part, Past Master, George Poneys, congratulated Worshipful Master Calos Railey, and Brethren of Hiram Lodge No. 11, for keeping Hiram Lodge No l. charity touch alive, and called upon other Past Masters and Brethren to join hands with the Worshipful Master and other Brethren to keep alive the charity works of Hiram Lodge No. 11.

On behalf of Ruth Chapter No. 8 Worthy Brother Stanley Ford, and member of Hiram Lodge No. 11, reign praises on the Worshipful Master, Carlos E. Railey, 32° and Brethren for their farsightedness in cratering to future leaders of Liberia, through the hot-meal and the scholarship drive.

For his part, the Administrator, J.L. Gibson memorial School, J. Lemuel Gibson, III, (son of late Philip Gibson) lauded Hiram Lodge No. 11 for the surprise visit and support which has brought smiles to hundreds of kids not only Gurley Street, but for central Monrovia area.

Gibson recounted the Meany individual support to J. L. Gibson memorial school, however, praise Hiram Lodge No. 11 for its desire to commence weekly hot-meal and scholarship.

He called on the government of Liberia, and other well-meaning Liberians, including organizations to come to the rescue of J.L. Gibson memorial school, to improve and accelerate the learning environment of the school.
