IPNEWS: Deputy House Speaker Johnathan Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, has predicted massive victory for President George Manneh Weah in the 2023 general and Legislative elections.
Liberia’s Deputy Speaker and Grand Kru County, District No. 2 Representative Hon. Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, serving as keynote speaker at the 2021 CDCUSA Inauguration of its CDCUSA National Elected Officers on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 207 N. Chestnut Street, Cheska, MN 55318, USA, stated that President Weah’s massive agriculture initiative for food self-sufficiency expected to rollout shortly will witness mechanized farming across Liberia which would see Liberia grow its stable food rice on massive scale.
Koffa told cheering CDC supporters that the expected agriculture plan will see the transformation of the agriculture sector as the building block to a new Liberia society in which citizens of Liberia will now play export roles rather than being consumers.
He disclosed that for the past twelve years the CDC under President George Manneh Weah has heightened its revenue collection to over two hundred million United states dollars, resulting into recent submission of a little over 725 Million in contrast to previous years when it only realized a little over 500 million signifying the government strides to ensuring it lift the poor out of poverty.
Cllr. Koffa said that President Weah’s fight against criminalizing freedom of speech, dual citizenship, reduction of the presidential term for office and power-humility are significant qualities of the George Weah government which gives him greater advantage ahead of many of the opposition.

Pro Poor Agenda:
Speaking on the topic: “Political Economy; Value price and profits”, Deputy Speaker Koffa stated that in every society, people tend to make progress and invent things based on the prevailing situation, many of which is the Pro-Poor agenda for prosperity and Development which has its background for address the miserable socio-economic problems Liberia is faced with for over 170 years amidst capitalism for creating a middle-class that would have the means for production and subsequent wealth of the people.
Contrary to this concept capitalism, Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, said Liberia remain a country of consumers without production creating a devastating effect on the foreign exchange of the country for the purchase of rice and other consumables. He noted that Liberia’s previous export including rubber, iron ore and minerals continues to produce less then what it used to, yet the country continue to use the model of the past which continued to create massive poorer population for so many years now.
The Liberian Deputy Speaker stated that with those continuing challenges the government under President George Manneh Weah, coming to power in 2018, launched the Pro Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development, which has now given a clearer picture and pathway for stabilizing the economy through which majority of Liberians can come out of the ashes of poverty.
Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa, said the Pro Poor agenda seeks to provide a avenue through which the people can make advances by themselves, especially the massive construction intervention for low income housing units contrary to previous years when other estate were built for middle income earners.
Deputy Speaker Koffa named the second closet of the Pro-Poor agenda empowerment of the youths through education.
