IPNEWS: The Honorable House of Representatives has finally received 78 copies of the approved 2021 Special National Budget from the Executive, through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning.
The 2021 Special National Budget was submitted to the Lower House on Thursday October 28, 2021 during Day 4 of the Special Session of the Honorable House of Representatives of the 54th National Legislature.
In a communication addressed to the Chief Clerk of the House, Mildred Sayon, Deputy Minister of Finance, Tanneh Brunson indicated that copies of the 2021 Special National Budget will help guide members of the House during deliberation.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Bhofal Chambers has mandated the Chief Clerk, to distribute copies of the document to every member of that august body.
Speaker Chambers had earlier stated that the call for a special session is to review and ensure passage of the budget to fall in line with the new fiscal period.
