IPNEWS-Monrovia: The Evelyn charity Foundation (ECF) launches women empowerment program to elevate hundreds of women from poverty across the country.
Speaking at a recent launching ceremony at the Monrovia Christian Fellowship in Sinkor, the CEO of the Foundation, Ms. Evelyn Sarweh Campbell said, the motives of her charity program is to empower women and make people to know that they are strong and can do better than what other see as their limitations.
Ms. Campbell said her charity on Monday, September 27, 2021 commenced a training program and upon completion, “participants will be certificated and receive financial loans to serve as empowerment” she asserted.
She noted that, women are very important as there is no successful man without a strong woman.
According to ECF CEO, her program is involved in building vocational school, public feeding and empowering women in Liberia.
Meanwhile the board chair of the ECF, Mr. Bestman Kolue emphasizes “the Evelyn Charity foundation recently became first for distributing mosquito nets in Sinoe and Grand Cape Mount Counties.
However the CEO of ECF, has requested politicians to recognize and contribute to prioritizing women full participations into day-today economical activities.
She maintains that, any politicians who fails to recognize women must never expect their votes in any elections, as she will urge her members and the Families to stay away from voting for them.
Evelyn however stated, she has no political intention or motive for her contribution to women, but needs politicians’ support to achieve her dream.
