IPNews-Monrovia: President George Manneh Weah has cautioned Liberians against allowing their present deplorable conditions to keep them down.

President Weah told worshippers during the observance of the eighth anniversary of Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship, that Liberians should do away from the blame game and focus on preparing a glorious path for themselves and their country.

He said there are too many persons who refused to take reflection on the trend of their lives but concentrate on gossips and slanders.

Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship is the President’s personal church he established and named after his late Grandmother, whom he credits for bringing him up.

Recounting on his experiences as young man leaving the shores of Liberia, President Weah stated that it took focus and determination in allowing God to manifest Himself.

President Weah, said he remains grateful to God for His wonderful blessings bestowed upon him, which has served as a catalyst in doing good to others illrespective of the lies and slanders against him.

“Today is a wonderful day fellow Christians. Eight years ago this Church was established in a small zinc shade.

“We have come amidst difficult moments. But fellow Christians it is a blessing to give. I remember giving eleven dollars years ago to the work of God. Today, this eleven dollars has germinated into this wonderful institution erected to God and for the glorification of God!

“In here there is no family or nobody here in the church position because he is my brother or my relative. This is the church of God and its a Holy Ground.”

“So than, do not let your pains, pained you down!” President George Weah told worshippers.

The Liberian leader called on members of the church to rally around the leadership of Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship, in making the Church a pillar of winning souls to the Master Jesus.” President stated.

Earlier, the presiding Pastor of the City Hope International Church, in Oldest Congo Town serving as guest Preacher, called on members of Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship, not to allow their present take them away from the love of Christ.

Speaking on the theme: “Do not Let your pain, pained you Down”, from the text: Matthew 5:16, Pastor Favor, encouraged members of the church to remain courageous in pressing to the mark of the high calking by going all out in winning souls for Christ.

Pastor Favor, said the mission of the church is to go after winning souls and bringing back the lost to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and not a place for pageantry or a place do gossip and spread lies.

He said until Liberian desist from backbiting and slander, the country will continue to remain backward in confusion and underdevelopment.

The eight anniversary of Forky Klon Jlaleh Family Fellowship, held a weeklong activities in commemoration of the anniversary celebration, with revival, mini-conference on accessing the prospect of the church , followed by an all outdoor program commencing with parade on Saturday, January 30, 2021, through Thinkers Village community and back to the Church, and climax x with a Divine Worshipful Service on Sunday, January 31, 2021.
