IPNews-Monrovia: Female Journalist Forgbe Emma Kloh has challenged students at the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ to thread with caution in pursuit of good Journalism.

Ms. Kloh, an editor of the University of Liberia Radio believes the media is heavily challenged as such, emerging journalists should be cautious of their responsibility to society.

The young female journalist sounded the warning Friday, 29 January when she delivered a guest lecture at her ‘Alma Mater’, the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ in Congo Town.

According to a MediaAid statement, Ms. Kloh also named perservance, distinction, steadfastness as key characteristics aspiring Journalists shoud build upon, if they must succeed in their career path.

The PQSJ Alumna also cautioned her male colleagues in the media to learn to face their character by self-examining themselves.

On behalf of MediaAid Foundation, Board Chairman Necus Andrews praised Alumna Kloh for the level of enlightenment provided the students, and said the institution was extremely proud to see her becoming one of the fastest growing female Journalists in Liberia.

The release quotes Mr. Andrews as further urging all current PQSJ students to continue to ensure commitment to quality journalism and learning.

At the close of the session, two students: Barnabas Z.Y.J. Kurugu and Fahnie S. Kollie were certificated for their academic brilliance during the last September-October 2020 Training Quarter/Semester.

Peter Quaqua School of Journalism-PQSJ is Liberia’s leading media school in partnership with the United States Government through Embassy-Monrovia and other higher learning institutions in the United States of America.

From 2016-2020, PQSJ has graduated 339 students with nearly 60 percent now serving as working journalists and communication officers in Liberia and other parts of the world.
