“Right after my Show, I headed home when i rwceived a call from one of my relatives who call told me that they were attacked and chasing after me. I was compel to leave the radio station and came to somewhere else. Only God is my refuge.” Kai Gee, explained in tears late last evening at a undisclosed location.
Journalist Kai Gee continued ” some citizens of the county had deployed their private securities officers at my house to protect my family”.
It can be recalled on July 14, 2020 Supporters and Office Staffs of Representative Zoe Pennue and Superintendent Kai Farley beat a Journalist for taking pictures while they (Team Pennue) went to violently take a motorbike from their former Chairman,  while in a local radio studio in Zwedru City.
The case was later forwarded to the police station in Grand Gedeh county and court but had fallen on deaf ears as they played scanning games.
Journalist Gee added that this attacked is orchestrated by  political leaders and local government officials who had always threatened him for his robust questioning and presentation on this early morning show.
It may further be recalled, Superintendent Kai Farley and Rep. Zoe Pennue earlier this year called Smile Radio FM Management for Journalist Kai Gee immediate dismissal, something the management had refused to do prompting the current move by Superintendent Kai Farley and Representative Zoe Pennue to order he and his family flogging.
Citizens in the county have also condemned the attack describing it as barbaric, undemocratic and a theory to silent critical voices in the media.
Grand Gedeh County Authorities are yet to speak about this matter as some citizens of the county have accused the superintendent and district #1 Rep. Zoe Pennue for the attack.
Journalist Kai Gee reports for Spoon TV, a local radio station in the county, Smile FM, Independent Probe News Paper and other media outlets.
Magistrate Arthur Duogee is among three election magistrates who are currently being investigated by the National Elections Commission for acts in compatible to their terms of references.

  1. The act carry on against the journalist was uncivilized, illiterate and lack maturity.. We are living in a country of freedom of speech. The intimidation needs to stop, the government of Liberia needs to do serious investigation and let the victim (s) be brought to justice!!
