“We will not Accept Attacks from  Agent provocateurs Of Gov’t; Enough is Enough!” Alexander Cummings Vows, As CPP Condemns Attacks on Rep. Yekeh Kolubah

IPNews-Monrovia, Liberia. It seen as though the Opposition block in Liberia is now awaken to last evening purported attack on the home Representative Yekeh Kolubah, by some unidentified persons.

Representative Yekeh Kolubah is a strong critic of the George Weah government and a member of the Council of Patriot Which staged series of street protest against the poor management of the country’s economy and rampant corruption, according to organizers.

Now, this time the Opposition Alternative National Congress of former Coco cola corporate executive Alexander B. Cummings, say it will not no longer accept and entertain unprovoked attacks by persons the party termed as ‘Agent provocateurs Of Gov’t’.

Commings in a press release issued in Monrovia after this morning to the home of Representative Yekeh Kolubah, stated that the continued attacks on its partisan and his family is totally unacceptable and this will not be permitted to continued further.

“I spent some time on the phone with Rep. Yekeh Kolubah. What happened at his home last night is unacceptable. This government continues to provoke Rep. Kolubah with constant harassment and attacks on his person, his home, and his family. Rep. Kolubah remains a member of the ANC and a duly elected lawmaker in the House of Representatives who must be accorded due respect and protection under our laws.”

“The CPP will no longer accept this kind of behavior from agent provocateurs alleged to be acting on behalf of the government. The CPP has remained peaceful while our members and loudest critics are antagonized and attacked every day. The responsibility to maintain our peace and stability is not ONLY on the CPP, but is primarily the responsibility of the government. If these attacks do not stop, we will be left with no alternative but to defend ourselves and our members.” ANC political leader and Chairman of CPP Alexander Cummings stated.

Cummings said as part of the urgency the matter attaches to the security of the opposition, particularly executives and seniors partisans of the CPP, he will convene an emergency meeting of the Collaborating Political Parties-CPP, to discussed next course of action in the wake of the deteriorating security conditions for members of the opposition block.

“I will be convening a special meeting of the CPP to discuss the safety and security of key opposition members and steps we will take to ensure that. Enough is enough!”

“The Alternative National Congress (ANC), strongly condemns the increasing acts of state-sponsored violence which have come to characterize our political space. The ANC forcefully condemns the ghastly attack on the residence of Hon. Yekeh Kolubah, a stalwart of the ANC and Montserrado County District #10 Representative in the National Legislature of the Republic of Liberia. This is unacceptable and counterproductive to the maintenance of peace and tranquility for the benefit of the people of Liberia.”

“The ANC says that the constant attacks on Hon. Kolubah are unbecoming and must stop. This recent attack on Rep. Kolubah, an opposition figure immediately follows the unprovoked police action against supporters of the opposition Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Liberty Party HQ. These incidents and many others further prove that opposition partisans have no protection under our law.”

“We therefore call on all well-meaning Liberians, leaders and members of other political parties, civil society organizations, and our international partners (representatives of UN, AU, ECOWAS, EU and US government) that have worked tirelessly to secured the fragile peace in Liberia to impress upon the CDC-led government to stop these acts of political violence. We also call for the conduct of full independent investigation of the situation and put the Liberian government on notice that it will bear full responsibility for any breakdown of the peace.” A statement from Alexander B. Cummings & the CPP read.

  1. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is
needed to get set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% sure.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Kudos

  2. Thanks for the suggestions about credit repair on this amazing web-site. The thing I would advice people is to give up the actual mentality they can buy currently and pay back later. Like a society most people tend to do this for many factors. This includes vacations, furniture, along with items we wish. However, you have to separate your own wants from the needs. As long as you’re working to raise your credit ranking score actually you need some sacrifices. For example you may shop online to economize or you can turn to second hand outlets instead of expensive department stores to get clothing.
