IPNews-Monrovia: Hitting its four years in power, the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC)has been engulfed with serious discontent amongst many of its Stewarts and supporters over several reasons ranging from the Party’s choice (s) for the impending Senatorial Election, most especially Montserrado County.

Mr. Isaac Vah Tukpah, a staunch partisan of the CDC, who served for a period of four years as Chairman of the governing party ,United States Chapter, has parted company with the ruling establishment and quickly joined the upcoming Montserrado County Senatorial race as an Independent Candidate.

Speaking Tuesday at the Roberts International Airport upon arrival from the United States, Isaac expressed serious disappointment with respect to the governing structure of the party which he said, “I laid my life on the line for”

According to the Mr. Tukpah, the governing structure is proceeding contrary to the ideological principles they fought for, as well the ills that the Party criticized Former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of are been done.

He went on to indicate that the ruling party has lost track of it’s agenda, at the same expressing doubt in the governing party ability to achieve it’s Pro-poor Agenda for Development and Prosperity ( PAPD), adding “ in more than three years they have just gone 17 percent of achieving it’s agenda, that means they will never achieve this agenda”.

Tukpah noted that as one of the brains behind the crafting of an agenda that will emancipate the Citizenry, what he sees is a complete opposite of what they fought to establish while in opposition.

“ You guys are the one on the ground, it is cleared that people are hungry and lack basic needs. There is a need for an alternative to shaft the current structure” he said.

Isaac presented himself as the best alternative, at the same time indicating that he knows and understands what the population of Montserrado need and if given the chance, he will hold the Executive feet to the fire in ensuring that the right things are done to improve the lives of the people.

Also at an official welcoming program Wednesday in Sinkor, the former Chairman of the ruling party, USA chapter cautioned his supporters and people of Montserrado not to vote because of rice or little cash given by politicians.

Moreover, he advised the electorates to accept the money or rice given but they should not allow such items to influence their decisions.

“ I Isaac Vah Tukpah says, your should take the money and eat it when they give it to you, because it is your own money they’re bringing back to you. Those monies should have been used for projects or services that could benefit you, but they decided to pocket it, so it is your money eat it” .

The Montserrado Senatorial hopeful further said, his focused is in education, Heath, Agriculture and infrastructure Development, adding that these are Cardinal areas that the government has a slow steps.

He urged supporters to collectively work to win more voters to believe in him as the best alternative for the betterment of Montserrado County.

The decision of the former CDC Chairman to contest against his party Choice , Rep. Thomas Fallah is a clear indication that the ruling CDC is engulfed with disagreement, as Phil Dickson, former Deputy Minister of Labor and an executive of the CDC recently resigned his position to also contest the Montserrado Senatorial race.

More to that, dismissed Deputy Minister, Jamama Wolokollie has vowed to stand tall against the ruling party Choice, adding that her decision is based on the fact that the ruling party is proceeding wrongly in its governing structure.

With the like of Madam Wolokollie, Atty. Dickson and Tukpah contesting against the CDC Candidate show a sign of defeat for the CDC comes December 8, based of the division of the votes that might negatively impact the ruling Party Candidate.
