“I Did Not Vote Justice Ja’neh Out!” PYJ Clarifies

IPNews-Nimb County: Over mounting speculation linking conspiracy by both Nimba Senators with leading members of the governing CDC to politically impeach Associate Justice Kabineh Ja’Neh, Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson has revealed that the plot to remove Justice Ja’neh was a well-orchestrated planned by the ruling CDC to remove the former Associate Justice.

Both Senators Johnson and Grupee have come under strong public criticisms meanly from some citizens of Nimba for allegedly conspiring to vote Associate Justice Kabineh Janeh who is also a citizen of the county out during last Friday’s impeachment trial.
The former rebel leader turned Senator, wonders how could it be for He and Senator Grupee vote their kinsman out when they both have publically criticized the impeachment process.
” These accusations are share wickedness intended to bring unwarranted confusion among citizens of Nimba ”

“What these people are accusing senator Grupee and I is just unbelievable, but I think they need to check their brains.”

Expanding on the alleged plot to remove the former Associate Justice, Senator Johnson said about 16 weeks back, he discovered that the entire quest to remove justice Ja’ neh was
a political matter and not a judicial trial that was pending.

According to the Nimba Senator, an official of the government whose name he failed to call informed him that Kabineh Ja’neh was no longer needed among his colleagues on the bench by the
current government.

Speaking in an interview with a local Radio station in Nimba County via telephone, the former warlord turned preacher said upon hearing the information, he appealed to Justice Ja’neh to honorably retire but he refused.

Senator Johnson said despite Justice’s Ja’neh refusal to listen to him and others from the county, he and Senator Thomas Grupee voted in his favor to remain on the bench only because
he is from Nimba County.

At the same time, Senator Prince Johnson has given reason why he did not found part of nine senators who initially abstained from the voting process, terming their previous action as not being sincere but wanting personal gains which he rejects.
This claim by Senator Prince Johnson, has not been independently verified by this paper up to press time. Investigation continues…
