IPNews-Monrovia-Liberia-Wednesday 28 November 2018: The National Patriotic Party of Liberia leadership crisis has taking a center stage as officials of the party has surfaced at Civil Law Court.
The NPP is currently before the civil law court on two separate Petitions seeking for legal intervention into the ongoing dispute among members of that party.
The lawsuit was filed in favor of John Gray and some NPP Executive Committee Members of the party against the NPP embattle Chairman James Biney, Bolton Dennis and that of the CDC Chairman Mulbah Morlu.
The NPP Executives’ Petition is demanding for a preliminary injunction and a declaratory judgment in connection with the party’s leadership crisis.
The application to the Court has compelled Judge Yussif Kaba to issue a Writ of Summon for NPP James Biney and Bolton Dennis as well as CDC Mulbah Morlu.
They were also mandated to appeal in Court on November 26, of this month to respond to the petitioners’ double applications before November 26, or risk losing the matter consistent with law.
Since the embattle NPP Chairman James Biney and others were expelled from the Party, they remain defiance in connection to their expulsion by some party’s Executive Committee Members as they refused to steps-down.
