IPNews-Monrovia-Liberia-Monday-26 November 2018: The National Patriotic Party of Liberia leadership crisis has surfaced at Civil Law Court with two separate Petitions seeking for legal intervention.
The hearing by the Civil Law Court follows an earlier petition filed by former Vice President of Liberia John Gray (Executive Member NPP) and other members of the NPP Executive Committee’s Petitioned against their embattled Chairman James Biney, Bolton Dennis and CDC National Chairman Mulbah Morlu.
The NPP Executives’ petition according to our Judicial correspondent is demanding ‘preliminary Injunction and a Declaratory Judgment’ in connection with the Party’s leadership crisis.
Our Correspondent further stated that the NPP application to the Civil Law Court has now compelled Judge Yussif Kaba to issue a Writ of Summon for NPP embattled Chairman James Biney and Bolton Dennis as well as CDC Chairman Mulbah Morlu.
They were also mandated to appeal in Court on November 26, of this month to respond to the petitioners’ double applications before November 26, or risk losing the matter consistent with law of ‘default Judgment’.
It may be recall since the explosion of embattled NPP Chairman James Biney and others from the NPP, they continued to exhibit defiance in connection to their expulsion by some party’s Executive Committee members calling on them to stand-down.
