Police Chief Orders Spokesman Woods Nyanton Relieve; As Major shakeup in Police Expected Tomorrow

IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia- 25 March 2018: Credible sources at the Liberia National Police has hinted the Independent Probe that newly appointed Police Spokesman Woods Nyanton has been ordered relief from post by Inspector General Patrick Sudue, for what it calls inability to function and directed to turn over all police property in his possession including assigned police Radio, SIM card by mid-day tomorrow, March 26,2018.

Meanwhile, major shakeup is expected tomorrow in the ranks of the Liberia National Police.

According to highly placed source, Col. Sudue, has detected high level of undermining by some he perceives as loyalist of former police IG Gregory Coleman.

The report further detail that Commissioner Woods Nyanton is expected to be replace by his deputy, Assistant Director of Press and Public Affairs until further orders.
