LWF To Participate in Debut African championship ..Team Departs For Nigeria

IPNews-Monrovia,Liberia-6 February 2018: A five man delegate of the Liberia Wrestling Federation (LWF) is expected to depart the country on Sunday February 4, 2018 for Port Harcourt, Nigeria to participate in the African Wrestling championship for the first time.

Coach Charles G. Gradea will lead the team for the competition that has been earmarked for February 7-11, 2018.

Those expected to fly the colors of Liberia to Nigeria are, Eric Borkuah, Venecious Juah, Jarius Kollie and Augustine Flomo…

According to the local federation, two of the athletes will participate in free style senior category, while the other two will be fight in Greco Roman senior category.

The trip has been made possible by Gilbert Moore, a Liberian philanthropist based in Canada, who instrumentality has make it possible for the local federation to returning on the international scene, this time, its first appearance at the annual African Wrestling Championship.
