‘War Perpetrators Must Answer”, Social Activist Chris Harris Calls for War Crimes Court for Liberia

IPNews-Monrovia: Amidst call for the setting up of War and Economic crimes court in Liberia, Social Activist Chris Harris is calling for a national commitment in holding those responsible for heinous crimes in Liberia accountable.

The Foundation for peace And Justice of Liberia, Social Activist stated that for too long perpetrators of War and Economic crimes were left alone after they have committed grave crimes against the peaceful citizens of Liberia.

“We cannot continue this! This must  stop! They all need to answer for the consequences of their actions.”

“Perpetrators of barbaric crimes must not and cannot enjoy the beauty of freedom when they took the lives of many of our compatriots in cold blood.” Chris Harris emphasized.

The Social Activist said any attempt for Liberians to continue rewarding war perpetrators, the peace of the country will remain unattainable.

It may be recalled, notorious warlord Prince Johnson stated that any attempt to establish war crimes court in Liberia will be met with serious resistance.

The Nimba County Senator, stated that the civil war in Liberia has ended and Liberia must let go the past.

But contrary to this assertion by warlord turned Senator, Prince Johnson, Social Activist Chris Harris stated that ‘no society will advance when the perpetrators of heinous crimes, especially crimes against humanity go unapologetic and boastfully enjoy lavish life style at the detriment of the very people they rape and murder years ago.

The Liberian social Activist spoke at a famous intellectual center, in the Flamah community, of the sinkor suburb.

Social Activist Chris Harris has vowed to raise the awareness on the formation of war crimes against threats from some blood thirsty former rebel fighters to kill him.

It may be recalled, Social Activist narrowly escape death when he came under attacked by some men in the Plumkor community, in the Sinkor suburb threatening to finish (kill) him if he does not stop his continued attacks on their man( in attribution to Senator Prince Johnson) on war crimes business.

The Social Activist named former INPFL Leader Prince Johnson, Kai Falley, Representative, Grand Gedeh County, Richard Saah Gbollie, Margibi County Representative, Sando Johnson, Senator Bomi county , among others, who are notable warlords working in the Liberian government.
