IPNEWS-Monrovia: Lebanese Telecommunications giant Telecel Global, has acquired Liberia’s internet giant K3 Liberia.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Beirut, Lebanon yesterday, K3 Liberia. chief Executive, and Managing Director, Mohamad Farhat, highlighted the importance of TGS\u2019s expansion into Western Africa and the company\u2019s key reasons for acquiring K3 Telecom Liberia: \u201cWe are keen to enter the Liberian market and work to expand data connectivity throughout the country. <\/p>\n
“Our objective is to provide affordable, reliable, and secure connectivity services to customers in Liberia. We will deploy Telecel\u2019s advanced IT, security, and cloud-based solutions, which we will offer through the K3 brand, to Liberian business customers (\u2026) Our goal is to provide the Liberian market with a variety of locally hosted and innovative solutions tailored to the needs of the customer. These services will include IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and cloud voice services.\u201d<\/p>\n
For his part. Ramzi Shalak, Chief Executive Officer of Telecel Global Services, shares his vision regarding the company\u2019s expansion into Liberia and increasing the TGS footprint into West Africa: \u201cWe are pleased to announce the acquisition of K3 Liberia. It is a vital part of Telecel Global\u2019s ISP expansion strategy into West Africa.” <\/p>\n
