IPNews-Monrovia: Irreproachable sources at the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), have hinted the Independent Probe Newspaper that Deputy Director General for Administration at National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), Henry Blake, has unceremoniously departed Liberia for the United States of America.
According to sources, Mr. Blarke, departed Liberia over the weekend amidst call by the government Asset Recovery Team for a full audit of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), transaction and handling of the Ebola funds.
Our source further informed IPNews that Blarke, unceremoniously departure was prompted by frequent visits of some state security personals of the National Security Agency-NSA and the Anti-Corruption Commission-LACC, following the departure last weekend of his boss Tolbert Nyenswah.
There has been no immediate word from Mr. Blarke on inquires by the Independent Probe Newspaper, but close associates of Mr. Blarke hinted IPNews that Barke has now retired to his family who are all citizens of the United States.
It may be recorded, last week the Executive Mansion announced that President George Manneh Weah has accepted the resignation of the head of the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), Mr. Tolbert Nyenswah.
President Weah thanked Mr. Nyenswah for the time he served the people and Government of Liberia. He wished him well in his new endeavors.
Hours after the pronouncement by the Executive Mansion of Mr. Tolbert Nyenswah’s resignation acceptance, the Asset Recovery Team, headed by Cllr. Arthur Johnson swiftly issued through Criminal Court ‘C’, travel restriction on Mr. Nyenswah until full investigation would have been concluded.
But strangely, Mr. Nyenswah secretly departed Liberia regardless of an issuant of the travel restrictions.
Even though Government has announced the commencement of full scale investigation into circumstances leading to the departure of Tolbert Nyenswah, yet, another flight of person of interest into the much talked about Ebola money has disappear into tin-air under the watchful eyes of security forces at the Roberts International Airport-RIA. Investigation continues.
