IPNews-Monrovia: Admits planes by aggrieved members of the House of Representatives to have Speaker Chambers and his deputy Prince Moye ousted, speaker chambers tells legislative reporters that he still enjoys the confidences of his colleagues.

Member of the House of Representatives speaking on condition of anonymity has had two separate meetings both in Monrovia, and Grand Bassa County bringing the total members in attendances to 21 want their leaders removed on grounds that they’ve resisted cut in their salary and benefits.

But speaking to legislative reporters during the weekend speaker said he still enjoys the confidence of his colleagues’ base on his generosity who frequently move in his office.

Committing on the issues of the pending protest on Capitol Hill by staffers of the National Legislature as its relates to delay in their salaries, speaker Chambers noted that he himself is yet to received salaries for the past two months noting, that staffers of the National legislature should be the last to complained.

In another development, speaker Chambers has disclosed that a high power Chinese parliamentarians delegation is expected in the country as guest to the members of the Liberian National legislature from November 11, 2019.
